Rapido Partners with DMRC to Offer Seamless First and Last-Mile Connectivity for Delhi Metro Users

Rapido, India’s largest ride-sharing platform, has partnered with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to enhance first and last-mile connectivity for metro commuters in Delhi. Effective April 4, 2025, metro passengers can now seamlessly book doorstep pick-up and drop-off services through Rapido’s bike taxi and auto network, integrated with their metro rides.

This initiative is aimed at enhancing urban mobility by encouraging greater use of public transportation while easing road congestion in the capital. Through this collaboration, DMRC users can now book an integrated journey that includes pick-up from their location, a metro ride, and onward transportation to their destination—all facilitated through Rapido’s bike taxis or auto services.

The partnership was formally launched at Metro Bhawan, Delhi, as part of the ‘Integrated Journeys’ initiative on the DMRC Saarthi Momentum 2.0 App, aimed at enhancing metro connectivity. By bridging the gap between metro stations and commuters’ homes or workplaces, DMRC and Rapido are jointly contributing to a more sustainable and efficient urban transit ecosystem.
