Tata Advanced Systems Reportedly to Get Order of 100 Wheeler Armor Vehicle Platform from Indian Army

Tata Advanced Systems, a subsidiary of Tata Sons, is likely to secure an order for over 100 wheeled armored vehicle platforms from the Indian Army, said a report by Zee Business citing sources. A Request for Information (RFI) may be issued soon in this regard.

This order is expected to be for the 8x8 wheeled armored platform, developed in collaboration with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The contract could be signed within the next year.

The 8x8 wheeled armored vehicles from Tata Advanced Systems are designed to meet the Indian Army’s requirements for mobility, protection, and firepower.

Tata Advanced Systems (TASL) and the DRDO have a strong collaborative relationship, particularly in the development of advanced defense technologies. TATA Kestrel is a wheeled armored personnel carrier developed by Tata Motors and DRDO. It is designed to meet the Indian Army’s requirements for a modern, versatile, and highly mobile armored vehicle.
