Google Using AI to Add 110 New Languages to Google Translate

Google Translate has recently expanded its language support by adding 110 new languages using advanced artificial intelligence (AI) models. This is the largest expansion in Google Translate's history. Here are some key points:

• Punjabi (Shahmukhi): The most spoken language in Pakistan, written in Perso-Arabic script.
• Tamazight (Amazigh): A Berber language spoken across North Africa.

4. Revolutionary Model: Google used its PaLM 2 large language model (LLM) to achieve this expansion. PaLM 2 enables accurate translations across diverse languages.
