Tech Mahindra, in collaboration with AVEVA, a British multinational information technology consulting company that specializes in industrial software, has established a Global Center of Excellence (CoE) to accelerate digital adoption. The CoE is located at Tech Mahindra's campus in Pune, India, and aims to create digital transformation solutions for industry-specific use cases.

This CoE will combine Tech Mahindra's expertise in process manufacturing, Industry 4.0 capabilities, and AVEVA's deep industry knowledge and software applications. It will offer various solutions, including digital production, digital supply chains, connected operations, asset performance, plant digitization, and engineering information management. The solutions will also cover the entire industrial lifecycle, from conceptual engineering to operations and supply chain, helping industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Power & Utilities, Infrastructure, Mining, Metal Minerals, and Manufacturing to accelerate the digital adoption process and enhance performance.

The CoE will focus on various solutions, including digital production, digital supply chains, connected operations, asset performance, plant digitization, and engineering information management. These solutions are designed to cover the entire industrial lifecycle, from conceptual engineering to operations and supply chain, and will assist industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Power & Utilities, Infrastructure, Mining, Metal Minerals, and Manufacturing.

The inauguration of the CoE was attended by dignitaries, and the event showcased industry-leading case studies demonstrating how the combined capabilities of Tech Mahindra and AVEVA will drive digital transformation globally.

The partnership is expected to address legacy infrastructure challenges and develop next-generation solutions to improve efficiency and quality within various sectors.

AVEVA was founded in 1967 as a joint venture between the UK Atomic Energy Authority and the CAD Centre, a government-funded research institute that developed computer-aided design (CAD) software for engineering.
