Bengaluru-based Ati Motors, which makes autonomous Industrial electric vehicles, has raised $10.85 million in Series A Round led by True Ventures. Existing investors Blume Ventures, Exfinity Ventures and MFV Partners also participated in this round.

Athera Ventures Partners joined as a new investor.

The freshly raised funds will help Ati Motors implement plans to expand into markets in the United States, South East Asia, Japan and Europe while exploring opportunities across the pharmaceuticals, chemicals, maritime, and injection moulding sectors.

Founded in 2017, by Saurabh Chandra, Vinay V and Saad Nasser, Ati Motors makes autonomous electric vehicles for material movement in industrial environments like factories or warehouses, for both indoor and outdoor usage.

In July 2021, Ati Motors had raised $3.5 million in a pre-series A funding round led by Blume Ventures, Exfinity Venture Partners, and MFV Partners. Prior to this, it had raised a seed fund from Village Global, a Bay Area based-early stage fund backed by prominent tech founders Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos, among others.
