Extramarks, one of India’s leading EdTech companies, has bagged industry honours for its App Store Optimization campaign for the Teaching App. The award-winning campaign improved the app ranking to 74 in the education category and a 759% improvement in App installs within six months.
The App Store Optimization (ASO) campaign won a) Best Digital Strategy in the educational enterprise category at Digital Dragon Awards and Summit 2022 and b) Best New-age campaign (SEO) at DMAasia Sparkies Awards 2022 - organized by Indian Business Council.
The campaign objective was to increase the organic visibility of the Teaching App on the Google Play Store and App Store. Leveraging the experience and expertise of Infidigit, a customized ASO strategy resulted in a 926% increase in store listing visitors, and 25+ non-brand keywords ranking in the top 10 positions for Google Play Store.
“Extramarks-The Teaching App was launched earlier this year as a part of our efforts to ease the lives of teachers by supporting them with their tasks. The team optimized for multiple ASO parameters like app titles, screens, short and long descriptions, etc. to rank for important non-brand keywords in the Google Play Store. These optimizations resulted in the App reaching a significant position on the Google Play Store in six months, leading to improved visibility and increased installs. These awards give us confidence that the teachers are finding value in what the App offers. We will continue bringing innovations to the product to help educators progress through the digital era,” said Arpit Agarwal, Vice-president - Marketing, Extramarks Education.
Extramarks -The Teaching App is a one-stop solution for effortless teaching. It offers a robust assessment platform, extensive content repository, live class platform, and digital classroom management tools for home tutors, coaching centres, and schools. They can get started for free and take their first step towards digitization.
The company aims to build a community of teachers, home tutors, and educators through the Teaching App. The app can be downloaded from the Play Store or App Store.
