He was awarded with the CSIR-SRF, BOYSCAST Fellowship from DST, DST Young Scientist, and the DHR Foreign Fellowship by the Government of India. In addition, he has received research grants from DST, SERB, UGC, ICMR, DBT and DHR of more than INR 30 Million. In addition, he has filed two patents, and published more than 50 publications in international journals. Prof. Yergeri has been a guide to more than 40 M. Pharm, 6 PhD and Postdoc students till date. He has been a speaker across the globe on the subject of Drug Resistance in Cancer Cells. His commitment to cancer research has also lent to policy making with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
