The funds will be used to hire talent to do innovations on the platform and propel its growth by marketing and evangelizing among developers. Co-founder of SuprSend, Nikita Navral commented that “we are on a mission to help businesses build product notifications across multiple channels without spending massive engineering resources and time and help them deliver the right user experience. The funding will help us to accelerate that. We are excited that we have found partners who share our vision.”

Launched in January 2022 by co-founders Nikita Navral of IIT Delhi and Gaurav Verma of IIT Bombay, SuprSend is headquartered in San Francisco. The team saw this problem first-hand in their earlier jobs, where developers spent a crippling amount of time in building and maintaining this service, and product teams depended on engineers for operational tasks.

“With so many channels and vendors present today, notifications have become complex to manage and scale. Companies build an orchestration layer which is either incomplete - leading to too many or too few notifications to the end user, or requires 10-15 engineers to make it sophisticated.” said Gaurav Verma, Co-founder of SuprSend, adding “With SuprSend, developers get a ready orchestration layer that takes care of integrations, routing, user preferences, compliances, logging, and scaling, at the same time Product Managers get a no-code tool to design and analyze all notifications centrally.”

Sathya Nellore Sampat, General Partner BoldCap said “Developers hate grunt work, but today they still spend a significant amount of time integrating and managing every notification and communication platform individually. Today it’s not a notification delivery problem, it’s a notification fatigue problem that needs to be resolved with a smart delivery system. Currently there is an explosion of such communication platforms, companies spend a lot of time and effort to manage this internally and we realized this is a global problem. That’s when we decided to back Nikita and Gaurav in this category defining space and lead this round.”

“With the blast in communication channels in recent years, companies are realizing that they need to pay attention to the user experience around notifications which is not a simple delivery system anymore. We are seeing teams dedicated to notifications in large companies as an indicator of the same. Nikita and Gaurav come with the right experience to solve this problem with Suprsend”, said Bipin Shah, who is Partner at Titan Capital.

SuprSend platform is scaling fast, with more than 100 companies registered on the product, and total workflows processed through the platform is growing at 150% month-on-month.

About SuprSend

With SuprSend, businesses can trigger notifications with a single API across sms, email, push, inbox and chat platforms like slack, whatsapp through already integrated providers like Twilio, Sendgrid, MessageBird, Mailgun, SES, FCM and more. On one hand SuprSend SDKs and workflows automate a lot of work around batching, rendering, routing, and scaling notifications. Whereas, a central platform lets product managers own templates, branding and delivery rules without involving developers and analyze performance without logging into multiple platforms.
