Aims to use the funds for expansion across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in India

Technology enabled cloud manufacturing platform for Interior design companies ‘Prolance’ today announced that it has raised ₹4 Crore in a Pre-Series A round, from a clutch of investors, including Srini Anumolu, Cofounder of GrowthStory; Karthik Bhat, Founder of Force Ventures; and Tarun Matta, Founder of IIMJobs.

Prolance is helping interior design companies and freelancers with their automation platform by becoming their complete back end support system for material supply and manufacturing. The startup is already working with clients like Godrej Interio, Spacewood, Landmark and SquareYards, and additionally counts more than 500 smaller interior firms as its clients. It caters to interior designers, contractors, suppliers and processing factories.

Prolance is headquartered in Bangalore and has a strong presence in Hyderabad and Chennai in addition to Bangalore. It aims to utilize this investment for expansion into more cities across India with a mission to make the interior design projects execution simple, accurate and effortless.

Prolance was founded in 2020 by five industry veterans: Rama Harinath K (Cofounder of HomeLane and MyHomeSpeaks), Vivek Parasuram (Cofounder of HomeLane.com and Bello Interiors), Raghunath Gururajan, Jaisimha Sathyanarayana, and Manoj K (all three are cofounders of DeltaCADD solutions).

Prolance’s automation platform promises to save up to 20% in project costs and reduce project delivery timelines by as much as 40%. It eliminates errors, cost escalations and ensures predictability for everyone in the interior business. It automates the complete back-end process for the interior design companies or independent designers and helps all the stakeholders involved in the execution process.

The Prolance platform has been used to execute over 5,000 projects so far. Further, the Prolance marketplace for procurement of raw as well as finished components has onboarded over 100 brands. More than a dozen factories are completely integrated with the platform enabling cloud manufacturing for their partners.
