Recently, India’s first bio-bank for heart failure research was inaugurated at Kerala's Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, which is established as a guide to future therapies. Now, in a latest, Union Ayush Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal along with Minister of State for Ayush, Dr. Munjapara Mahendrabhai has assured all help for establishing the first Bio-Bank of the world in Ayurveda at All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) located in Delhi .
Both the Ministers highly appreciated the work done by AIIA and assured their full-fledged support for further development of the Institute to make it world’s best Ayurveda Institute. The ministers were there for inaugurating Multi-Purpose Yoga Hall & Mini Auditorium.
Established in 2015 as a first AIIMS-like institution on Ayurveda, AIIA aims at bringing a synergy between Traditional Wisdom of Ayurveda and Modern tools and technology.
The institute also offers postgraduate and doctoral courses in various disciplines of Ayurveda and will focus on fundamental research of Ayurveda, drug development, standardization, quality control, safety evaluation and scientific validation of Ayurvedic medicine.
