The Technology Business Incubator will be set up at the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), a constituent institution of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). After getting the grant from Department of Science and Technology (DST), government of India, in the Technology Business Incubator, work will be done on Electric Vehicle and Industrial Automation. The institute will train the people associated with it and also conduct research in this area.

Electric vehicle is a big need of today, in view of which the institute has started work on it. In the meeting, two new courses will be started in IET from the new session, which include MTech (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) and BTech Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence).

Pro. Pathak informed that in compliance with the new education policy in the meeting, BTech Computer Science in Hindi will also be conducted in the affiliated institutions of the university. Work on this has started after getting the green signal from the Academic Council in the past.

In the meeting, it was also approved for compassionate appointment to the dependents of one teacher and two employees who were serving and recently died in the university. The minutes of the Building Committee, Academic Council and Finance Committee were also approved in the meeting.
