The COVID crisis is challenging, and in the Gandhian spirit of not losing hope and for sharing research and experience-based happiness ideas online Kolkata Happiness Festival 2021, from 5.45 to 8 pm on June 21, was organised by Happiness Strategy Foundation. Prof Rajesh Pillania, the leading and well-known happiness researcher in India, is leading a research-based happiness movement in the country, and Kolkata Happiness Festival 2021 was a part of it. The Foundation focus is on a positive solution-oriented approach, more so in the current COVID situation.

The Festival started with a keynote by the well known and leading researcher and trainer on happiness in India, Prof Rajesh Pillania, chief Mentor and Advisor, Happiness Strategy Foundation and Professor, MDI, Gurgaon. He shared research-based happiness tips.

It was followed by a panel discussion on Happiness in Kolkata moderated by Prof Pillania. The experts shared a lot of interesting insights on personal and workplace happiness and happiness in Kolkata.
 
Subhadip Dutta Choudhury, CEO, Hawkins Cookers Limited, pinpointed passion for work for happiness and also highlighted many good points of Kolkata and its culture.

A special keynote on learnings from Indian ancient wisdom was delivered by Padma Bhushan Dr M. B. Athreya, PhD (Harvard), Pioneer of the Indian Management Movement; and Ex-Professor London Business School & Ex-Professor IIM-Calcutta. He shared many insights from ancient Indian wisdom.

The participants asked a number of questions and participated in the Festival with a lot of enthusiasm and appreciated this timely initiative by Happiness Strategy Foundation.
