All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), a statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under the Department of Higher Education,  through its TULIP portal has invited applications for 2500 virtual internship opportunities available with Whitehat Jr. Interns who will be paid a monthly stipend of up to Rs. 12,000 based on their performance. AICTE Internships help Indian students find internships and organizations find best interns, on PAN India basis.

Interested applicants have to apply at TULIP portal, before 10 May 2021. Applications are open to candidates with the following qualifications: 
  • Second or third-year Graduation or Diploma students
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
  • Candidates are required to have laptop and internet facility
  • Other relevant skills and interests 

The Urban Learning Internship Programme (TULIP), was launched in June last year, to provide internship opportunities to thousands of fresh graduates and engineers of the county under the ‘Smart City’ projects. The TULIP portal has been developed by AICTE. Under the internship programme students will get to work for 100 smart cities under ministry of housing and urban development. According to the TULIP portal, there are a total of 295,200 internships under 23,970 companies.
