Prashant Dwivedi Eyes Rs. 100 Cr. Business for his Cleantech Startup 'Navbharat Water' by 2023, Looks to Invest in Logistics

Prashant Dwivedi led Mumbai based cleantech startup, Navbharat Water Pvt. Ltd. has announced its objective to cross INR 100 crore business by 2023.

Backed by skilled staff and strong technical support, Navbharat Water offers Avant-grade customised wastewater management and treatment solutions. With state-of-the-art facilities, the firm provides comprehensive services to its clients. From treatment processes to recycling and reuse, it offers complete industrial, commercial, and domestic wastewater management solutions.

Prashant Dwivedi, MD of Navbharat Water Pvt. Ltd.

Established in January 2020, the firm is successfully offering its solutions to a varied clientele that includes industrial segments, hospitality, healthcare, retail segments, commercial buildings, IT parks, malls, warehouses, and large-scale infrastructure amongst others.

While most of the companies across the spectrum are witnessing a slump in their revenue, Navbharat Water has successfully scaled-up its business significantly.

Prashant Dwivedi, Managing Director of Navbharat Water, said, “We started in January 2020 and despite the lockdown, we managed to get some marquee customers that includes four major players in hospitality and realty sectors and some other customers in food tech. We are gaining projects at a fast pace and the numbers will swell dramatically.”

An IIM Calcutta alumni, Lawyer, and Environmentalist, Prashant Dwivedi founded Navbharat Water intending to protect the most valuable resource on the earth - water. “It is possibly the most important resource for humanity and we need to conserve it.”

“We set up Navbharat Water that’s into the business of water treatment with a view to doing our bit for the environment. We have the technology to set up STPs and ETPs that cover the entire gamut from basic water treatment to ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge),” he adds.

Now, the company is planning to cross INR 100 crore business mark by FY23-24. “I expect this business to hit 100 Cr. topline by 2023,” says Prashant Dwivedi.

Moreover, on the question of raising capital and building valuation like most of his peers are aggressively doing, he says, “I don’t see the need for it. Business, if done correctly, should be inherently profitable. I run debt-free businesses. I believe it’s better to have a 30cr/100 Cr. bottom-line/top-line than a loss-making 5000 Cr. business. Profitability is the key to any business that we do.”

Investment announcement

An active investor, Prashant Dwivedi, says, “We invest in businesses that have positive unit economics and help them scale up. One of the various companies that I have invested in is a spectacle lens manufacturing company and I have made it profitable in 3 years. We are growing 100% yoy and will continue to do so for quite some time. We started with one lab in 2017 and now have 4 labs in India. I basically identify and focus on making one investment every year and scale it up.”

While announcing his investment plans he said that he invests in the business that “Should be profitable, scalable, and sustainable. The founder plays the most important role, so he/she must be extremely passionate and motivated to scale the business. The founder’s energy coupled with our experience makes it fairly easy to scale up in a sustainable fashion.”

“I am sector agnostic and invest in whatever makes financial sense to me. I personally feel there’s a huge fortune to be made in brick and mortar businesses. There’s more stability and lesser heartburn. You can focus on building the business than be worried about the next round of funding. To be clear, I don’t imply that any model is good or bad, personally, I prefer keeping it simple,” he adds.

“Logistics is close to our heart and is currently primed for technological disruptions. There’s a desperate need to move beyond legacy systems. We are in touch with some startups that are targeting the correct problems that need to be solved. We will add at least one of these companies to our investment portfolio shortly.”

About Prashant Dwivedi

He is a Computer Engineer, 2004 batch, MBA IIM Calcutta 2008 batch, and LLB 2017 batch. India Cities Happiness Report 2020: City Happiness Rankings, Impact of COVID-19 and Thought Leaders’ Insights

First India Cities Happiness Report covering thirty-four major cities measuring happiness across the country, the contributing factors to people’s happiness, the impact of COVID-19 on happiness, and insights from global thought leaders.

The study is based on a nationwide survey covering 13,000 people during October- November 2020 by Professor Rajesh K Pillania. He is recognised for his extensive research, jointly ranked number one in average research productivity among management faculty (including IIMs & IITs) in India between 1968 to 2014.

John F. Helliwell, Co-Editor (with Jeffry Sachs and Richard Layard) of the World Happiness Report, Professor Emeritus, Vancouver School of Economics, University of British Columbia emphasises that Rajesh Pillania and his team did a signal service in extending the scope of world happiness research by providing data for 36 Indian states in India Happiness Report 2020. The India Cities Happiness Report 2020 further deepens understanding by monitoring the quality of life in 34 major cities.

In the happiness rankings of cities, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad and Chandigarh are the top three. Among the Tier-I cities, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and New Delhi are among the top three whereas, among Tier-II cities, Ludhiana, Chandigarh and Surat are the top three cities in happiness rankings. The results show age group, education, and income level are overall positively related to happiness and marital status is negatively related to happiness, i.e. unmarried people are happier than married people in big cities.

Jaime Lerner, World-renowned Architect & Urban Planner, Former President of the International Union of Architects and, Chairman, Jaime Lerner Arquitetos Associados, and Among 25 Most Influential Thinkers in the World (Time magazine, 2010), stresses on Remembering Togetherness for happiness in cities and emphasises that quality public spaces are the glue that can hold together sharing, trust, connectedness, a sense of civic duty, responsibility and pride because public spaces are the theatres where urban life happens.

The spirit of India is quite resilient, and the impact of COVID-19 varies across cities. It varies from the worst possible to the best possible among individuals in the study. Bengaluru, Kochi and Kolkata have shown the worst possible impact of COVID-19 on happiness.

Francesc Miralles, Co-author of Bestselling book Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life pinpoints people often believe that happiness is the absence of problems, and that's a big mistake.

The report contains insights from various thought leaders on happiness including Ruut Veenhoven, Pioneer and World Authority on the Scientific Study of Happiness, Emeritus Professor of Social Conditions for Human Happiness, Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands (EHERO), and, Director, World Database of Happiness; John F. Helliwell, Co-Editor (with Jeffry Sachs and Richard Layard) of the World Happiness Report, Professor Emeritus, Vancouver School of Economics, University of British Columbia, and Distinguished Fellow, Canadian Institute of Advanced Research; Jaime Lerner, World-renowned Architect and Urban Planner, Former President of the International Union of Architects, Chairman, Jaime Lerner Arquitetos Associados and, Among 25 most Influential Thinkers in the World (Time magazine, 2010); Carlo Ratti, Director, MIT Senseable City Lab, Founding Partner, Carlo Ratti Associati and, Co-chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Cities and Urbanization; Richard Florida, one of the World’s Leading Urbanists, University Professor at University of Toronto’s School of Cities and Rotman School of Management, A Distinguished Fellow at NYU’s Schack School of Real Estate, and, Founder of the Creative Class Group; Padma Bhushan M. B. Athreya, Recognised as one of the Founders and Pioneers of the Indian Management Movement, and Ex-Professor London Business School, and Ex-Professor IIM- Calcutta; and, Francesc Miralles, Co-author of Bestselling book Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life.

People are optimistic about the future and generally scored more on happiness after five years compared to scores today. In the future happiness rankings after five years, Ludhiana, Jammu and Amritsar are the top three.

Carlo Ratti, Director, MIT Senseable City Lab and Co-chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Cities and Urbanization highlights that the key issue cities are facing is the relationship between the natural and the artificial worlds resulting in more happiness; and, don’t focus just on new technologies but use them to build cities for lovers and friends.

The three key takeaways for governments, organisations, and individuals are first different cities are at different levels of happiness rankings. There is a pressing need for more discussion, focus, and the application of happiness in the Indian context. Second, knowing is not enough, happiness needs to be practised. Third, choose and put into practice all or some or at least one of the insights from this report.

Professor Pillania has been researching, writing, teaching and training students and senior management people on happiness for the last five years. He has taught and trained 1000s of students and senior management people on strategy, innovation and happiness over the last 20 years. His recent books are Amazon Bestseller, ‘Happiness Strategy: Strategy and Happiness for Everyone’ and, ‘Happiness Diary: My Experiments with Happiness’.

Under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat, India is growing in its capabilities of manufacturing wide variety of Defence platforms and missiles. Akash is country’s important missile with over 96 percent indigenisation.

Akash is a Surface to Air Missile with a range of 25 Kms. The missile was inducted in 2014 in IAF and in 2015 in Indian Army.

After its induction in the Services, interest is shown in Akash missile by many friendly countries during International Exhibitions/Def Expo/Aero India. The Cabinet approval will facilitate Indian manufactures to participate in RFI/RFP issued by various countries.

So far, Indian defence exports included parts/components etc. The export of big platforms was minimal. This initiative of the Cabinet would help the country to improve its defence products and make them globally competitive.

The export version of Akash will be different from System currently deployed with Indian Armed Forces.

Besides Akash, there is interest coming in other major platforms like Coastal Surveillance System, Radars and Air platforms. To provide faster approvals for export of such platforms, a Committee comprising of Raksha Mantri, External Affairs Minister and National Security Advisor has been created.

This Committee would authorise subsequent exports of major indigenous platforms to various countries. The Committee would also explore various available options including the Government-to-Government route.

Government of India intends to focus on exporting high value defence platforms, to achieve target of 5 Billion USD of defence export and improve strategic relations with friendly foreign countries.

Akash is developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and produced by Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) for Missile Systems, Bharat Electronics (BEL), Tata Power Strategic Engineering Division and Larsen & Toubro for other radars, control centers, launcher systems in India.

Akash missile system can target aircraft up to 30 km away, at altitudes up to 18,000 m. It has the capability to neutralize aerial targets like fighter jets, cruise missiles and air-to-surface missiles as well as ballistic missiles. It is in operational service with the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force.

Agritech Startup qZense Secures INR 4.5 Crore in Seed Investment Led by Venture Catalysts

qZense, an agritech start-up for quality control and management of fresh produce, secures INR 4.5 Cr seed investment led by Venture Catalysts

The platform's IOT-enabled device employs NIR spectroscopy and artificial olfaction to provide real-time insights for quality assessment and management in fresh produce

Mumbai, December 30th, 2020: Venture Catalysts, India's first and largest integrated incubator and accelerator, has recently led INR 4.5 Cr seed investment in qZense Labs, an agritech start-up for quality control and management of fresh produce. The funding round was led by Manish Modi (MD, Mastermind Capital) & VedantLoyalka (Chairman, Curae Health). 9Unicorns, an idea-stage accelerator VC invested in the same round along with participation from other prolific investors like The Chennai Angels, Entrepreneur First, London based VC and Lumis Partners.

Founded in 2019, by RubalChib and Dr SrishtiBatra, qZense aims to transform the Indian fresh food supply chain industry with its end-to-end IOT-based solution for providing quality assessment and management of fresh produce. Around 40% of the fresh, post-harvest produce in the world is lost due to factors such as internal spoilage, low shelf-life, and over-ripening during transportation. Intuition-based, manual decision-making is the leading cause behind this considerable inventory loss and suboptimal margins, making quality assessment and management of fresh food an area of concern in the retail market. This is where qZense enters the picture.

The start-up solves the problem by providing a non-destructive and accurate qualitative grading of fresh foods across the supply chain to food businesses and retailers. Its innovative technology captures the internal quality of food by employing NIR and olfactory senses and machine learning algorithms to provide an accurate analytical assessment of various internal quality parameters. These include ripeness, brix, storage and shelf-life. It also uses a web dashboard to offer real-time insights and alerts regarding the scanned produce.

Speaking on the investment, RubalChib – Founder at qZense, said, "We are glad to partner with Venture Catalysts and The Chennai Angels. Their support will enable us to take another step towards our vision of becoming a one-stop-solution for quality assessment of fresh produce. We will leverage the capital infusion to bolster our expansion plans by scaling the team and accelerating our marketing endeavours."

Dr. Apoorva Ranjan Sharma, Co-founder & President – Venture Catalysts & 9Unicorns, commented, "The digital boom has undeniably put the Indian agritech industry on the map. The space is witnessing new developments every day, each innovation addressing specific pain points in the sector. One such pain point is managing the quality of fresh produce and minimizing its wastage. qZense is aiming to address and resolve this pertinent issue by leveraging the power of digital technology. The founding team's dedication and the start-up's IP are well-positioned to disrupt the market space worth USD 2 billion. We are confident that the start-up will transform the experience of Indian food businesses and retailers for the better."

"This Founding team is very competent with complimentary and highly complex skillsets. We believe that their solutions have the potential to optimize revenues and minimize wastage for all players in the agri food chain. We also see promising large use cases in harvesting of sugarcane and vanilla where non destructive measurement of sugar content will hugely benefit the farmer community", said K Chandran, CEO of The Chennai Angels.

Leveraging its digital platform, qZense aims to empower food businesses and retailers to not only minimize their produce loss but also to determine the optimal margins of freshness. Its software platform offers two products to ensure an effective and seamless delivery of service. The Q-Scan is a handheld scanning device for grading the internal quality. The second product Q-Log comprises olfactory loggers responsible for measuring the quality of produce during storage and in logistics.

2020 HR Technology Trends Paving The Way For 2021 And Beyond

HYDERABAD, India , Dec. 30, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Darwinbox , cloud-based human capital management platform shares 4 defining digital workplace trends from 2020 in their state of HR tech report.

In a report that surveyed 180+ HR leaders from 145 Asian Enterprises , Darwinbox compiled the 'State of HR Tech ' that depicts organisational response to COVID-19 identifying short-term and long-term trends which will continue to shape the talent and tech needs in future.

"2020 was the year that changed everything - the way we live, work or connect. As the pandemic posed an unprecedented challenge, we saw HR leaders move urgently to protect employees, ensure business continuity and build resilience. In such times when immediate action was critical, most leaders embraced a new agenda - one which is digital-first and fosters agility," said Chaitanya Peddi , Co-founder, Darwinbox.

This movement which started in 2020 will continue to rise in 2021 and here are the 4 trends which will dominate the HR technology landscape.

Trend 1: Accelerated Digital Transformation

The Darwinbox survey found that 84% of organisations have either adopted at least one HR tech solution during the pandemic or planning to in the next 12 months.

COVID-19 presented itself as the biggest driver for digital transformation since organizations found themselves in a position where they have to ensure business continuity while ensuring employee safety. While 58% of organisations saw the adoption of one or more HR tech solutions to meet these immediate priorities, 26% reported undergoing a complete digital transformation project by 2021.

Trend 2: Cloud Technology To The Rescue

When it comes to adapting to the new governance, cloud HRMS' did 2X better than non-cloud counterparts and 3X better for ensuring business continuity.

Organizations using cloud HR technology have been 55% and 50% more effective than others in remote engagement and facilitating employee safety, respectively. The ability to go mobile-first, less dependence on IT, accessibility, and seamless integrations are among the many benefits of cloud systems that make cloud HRMS the most suitable for the new normal.

Trend 3: 3 Of The Top 4 HR Tech Investments Were Solutions For Remote Work Management

The report identified that 60% organisations invested in remote workforce management tools, 59% on digital hiring & onboarding while 41% on video calling infrastructure.

The massive amounts of infrastructural investments already made into these technologies and organisations openly coming out in favour of a remote workforce are a clear indication that remote work is here to stay.

Trend 4: Building Agility - The Most Critical Objective Of Digital Transformation

73% of organisations reported the top priority of HR digital transformation to become an agile and future-ready organisation.

With a stronger focus on building lean systems and processes, organisations have realised the importance of being able to pivot quickly and efficiently in order to sail through turbulences. Not just the current one but any disruption that the future may hold.

Although 2020 saw the genesis of these trends, they will define the overall business and talent strategies for 2021 and beyond. Organisations are grabbing opportunities which the pandemic has presented to better themselves and stay ahead of the curve.

Darwinbox has been enabling top Asian organisations to capitalise on these trends and build a stronger workplace. 135+ enterprises with the likes of Ujjivan Bank , Mahindra Logistics , Max Bupa , Kirloskar Group , Kotak Life , and Tata Cliq have gone through a cloud HR Technology transformation with Darwinbox, completely remotely in 2020.

Coming Soon India’s 1st Autonomous Navigation Testbed TiHAN at IIT Hyderabad

Union Minister of Education virtually lays foundation stone of ‘TiHAN-IIT Hyderabad’- India’s first Test bed for Autonomous Navigation Systems (Terrestrial and Aerial)

Special Features of this Facility include Test Tracks, Emulation of Real-World Scenarios, State of the Art Simulation Technologies, Road Infrastructure, V2X Communication, Drone Runways and Landing Area, Mechanical Integration Facility, Centralized Control Room/Ground Control Station, Hangars and many more.

Union Minister of Education Shri. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, virtually laid foundation stone of ‘TiHAN-IIT Hyderabad’, India’s first Test bed for Autonomous Navigation Systems (Terrestrial and Aerial) in the presence of Honorable Minister of State for Education Shri. Sanjay Dhotre, Dr. B. V. R. Mohan Reddy (Chair Person, Board of Governors, IIT Hyderabad), Prof. B. S. Murty (Director IIT Hyderabad) and senior officials from Ministry, Department of Science & Technology (DST), GoI and IIT Hyderabad.

The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has sanctioned Rs. 135 crores to IIT Hyderabad under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) to set up a Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems (UAVs, RoVs, etc.). The Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation Systems for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Remotely Operated Vehicles at IIT Hyderabad, known as 'TiHAN Foundation' has been incorporated as a Section-8 company by the institute in June 2020.

Expressing this delight to witness this technology advancement Shri Pokhriyal said “TiHAN Foundation, established at IIT Hyderabad, is a multi-departmental initiative, including researchers from Electrical, Computer Science, Mechanical and Aerospace, Civil, Mathematics, and Design at IIT Hyderabad with collaboration and support from reputed institutions and industry. It is a great step towards ‘AtmaNibhar Bharat’, ‘Skill India’ and ‘Digital India’, he said. With an essential focus on the research and development of interdisciplinary technologies in the specific domain area of "Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems," this hub focuses on addressing various challenges hindering the real-time adoption of unmanned autonomous vehicles for both terrestrial and aerial applications, he added.”

Minister of State for Education Shri Sanjay Dhotre complimented the remarkable initiative taken by IIT Hyderabad team. Dr. B. V. R. Mohan Reddy, Chairman BoG, IIT Hyderabad has praised the hard work of IIT Hyderabad Faculty for this gigantic project.

Congratulating the TiHAN Team, Director IIT Hyderabad, Prof. B. S. Murty said, “One major requirement to make unmanned and connected vehicles more acceptable to the consumer society is to demonstrate its performance in real-life scenarios. However, it may become dangerous. Especially in terms of safety, to directly use the operational roadway facilities as experimental test tracks for unmanned and connected vehicles. In general, both UAV and UGV testing may include crashes and collisions with obstacles, resulting in damage to costly sensors and other components. Hence, it is important to test new technologies developed in a safe, controlled environment before deployment”.

Highlighting the importance of this facility Project Director - TiHAN & Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Dr. P. Rajalakshmi said, “Several organizations worldwide have developed test beds or proving grounds to investigate the functioning of unmanned and connected vehicles in a controlled environment by replicating different scenarios, ranging from frequently occurring to extreme cases that may ensue in real-life traffic operations.

At present, there is no such test bed facility in India to evaluate the autonomous navigation of vehicles. Therefore, it is envisioned to address this gap by developing a fully functional and exemplary test bed facility dedicated to Connected Autonomous Vehicles - CAVsin a portion of the beautiful IIT Hyderabad campus. The hub's focus sectors include Intelligent, Autonomous Transportation and Systems, Agriculture, Surveillance, and Environmental & Infrastructure Monitoring.”

Total Area 2 Acres of land has already been allocated in the IIT Hyderabad campus and the facilities are planned in phases. All Smart poles are enabled with communication providing technology with some Poles designed with sprinklers to simulate rain scenario. The developed test bed will be available for use by all the industries, R&D labs, academia conducting research and development in the broad areas of autonomous navigation.

If a founder is seeking financial support and has rapport in founders’ community, it becomes easier to arrange funds. We Founder Circle has only become more relevant during the current unprecedented times. Due to pandemic funds have gone dry and startup community has come to a standstill. It is the time when things can only recover with mutual support. Hence, we are working on founders-backing-founders model to refuel the community. We have already closed 8 deals in just 100 days of operations which proves that the model is the need of the hour,” said Mr. Neeraj Tyagi- CEO & Founder, WeFounder Circle.

The platform is already in aggressive talks with over 30 startups and aims at going on a funding spree in the first half of 2021.

For Yrs Urban India Continue to Breathe Toxic Air, Incentivising Vehicle Conversions to Clean Fuels An Immediate Solution until EV Become Commercially Viable

What about our immediately available clean air solutions?
In absence of immediately available clean air options, urban India will continue to breathe toxic air for years

The lack of urgency to respond to air pollution crisis is causing irreparable harm to the health of millions of Indians

Rolling out clean gaseous fuels such as Auto LPG can bring about an immediate difference in air quality of several Indian cities

Incentivising vehicle conversions to clean gaseous fuels can be an immediate solution until Electric Vehicles become commercially viable

New Delhi : As poor air quality coupled with hazardous smog continues to perpetually choke the capital and other Indian cities, lack of urgency to respond is both frustrating and appalling. With an overwhelming policy thrust on EVs and a complete dearth of focus on immediate clean air solutions, millions of Indians are likely to continue breathing toxic air for years.

As we observe National Pollution Control Day, it is pertinent to note that by banking totally on long term solutions like the EVs, India is missing out on low hanging fruits that can help bring about an immediate difference in air quality. Clean gaseous fuels such as Auto LPG are one such under-utilised solution that can bring about immense benefits to urban air quality by controlling hazardous vehicular tailpipe emissions.

Indian Auto LPG Coalition, the apex body of Auto LPG suppliers in the country, is underlining the need for the government to incentivise vehicle conversions to Auto LPG to be able to leverage an immediate air quality benefit.

"Even though the annual stubble burning process impacts Delhi’s air quality most seriously at the onset of winters, truth is that residents of the capital breathe toxic air for most part of the year. Hazardous vehicular emissions continue to be a major source of poor air quality in urban India. Yet, the fact that policymakers do not display any urgency in addressing the above and focus only on long-term deployment of EVs is frustrating. Lack of use of immediate clean energy solutions such as Auto LPG implies that millions of people have no hope of breathing clean air any time in the near future,” said Mr. Suyash Gupta, Director General, Indian Auto LPG Coalition.

With a bulk of Delhi’s and most Indian cities’ air pollution woes emanating from the transport sector, it is important that well calibrated near and long term measures are initiated to address this problem. The capital and other polluted Indian cities need to shift a substantial part of their private vehicles to cleaner fuels like Auto LPG in the short term until EVs become widely viable. Much like the capital undertook a major transformation drive by converting its DTC buses fleet to CNG 20 years back, another similar transformation drive is needed on personal vehicles and cars.

Tailpipe emissions resulting from vehicles include oxides of nitrogen (NOx), hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO 2) as well as particulate matter.

“We already have readily available and clean alternative fuels that can help us achieve significant gain in air quality in a short span of time. With much lower emissions of not only carbon but also nitrogen oxides and particulate matters, Auto LPG is such a readily available alternative to petrol and diesel. What we need is a clear policy tilt towards clean alternative fuels and a plan to incentivise vehicle conversions to Auto LPG. The government must do this by subsidising conversion costs, reducing GST on Auto LPG as well as on Auto LPG/CNG conversion kits to encourage use of the eco-friendly fuel", added Mr Gupta.

A policy thrust towards cleaner fuels will also push OEMs towards investing in more Auto LPG variants, offering greater options for consumers.

Auto LPG is the third most widely used automotive fuel used globally after petrol and diesel. It has almost 50% lesser PM emissions than CNG and Petrol and 80% lower PM emissions than Diesel. Vehicles using Auto LPG as fuel also emit much lower CO2, making Auto LPG one of the most eco-friendly fuels on the block. Also, LPG has been classified by United Nations International Panel on Climate Change (UNIPCC) for having a global warming potential of zero, implying that is not a greenhouse gas.

About IAC:

Indian Auto LPG Coalition (IAC) is the nodal body for the promotion of Auto LPG in India. Members of the Coalition include the Oil Sector PSUs, Private Auto LPG marketers, Kit Suppliers and Equipment Manufacturers. The Coalition works closely with the World LPG Association and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.

IAC is also a member of “Central Motor Vehicle Rules - Technical Standing Committee” (CMVR-TSC) & “Standing Committee on Emission Legislation” (SCOE), TED26 (Bureau of Indian Standards), Government of India.
