On Thursday 12 September, digital media agency, M & C Saatchi Performance and mobile measurement platform, Branch, co-hosted INSIDE Bangalore, an insightful industry event that gathered 100+ attendees. The evening brought together some of the sharpest minds in the Indian media industry to discuss best practices and innovative hacks to succeed in the digital growth space.
After collaborating in other cities across APAC, Branch and M&C Saatchi Performance were excited for their first event partnership in India. While Branch has already hosted a series of events in the country through its Mobile Growth initiative, for M&C Saatchi Performance this was the first event in India reflecting the agency’s continued growth and consolidation in the market. Held on the glamorous rooftop of Kaze Bar & Kitchen, the event kicked off with an opening by Chris Steedman, Managing Director APAC at M&C Saatchi Performance and Ankit Saxena, Director of Tech APAC at Branch, followed by two panel discussions featuring the most influential minds in the space such as Phone Pe, Flipkart, Swiggy, Redbus-MakeMyTrip, and Myntra.
The first panel, moderated by Sushant Tomar, Country Director India at M&C Saatchi Performance discussed the best practices to decode app growth and approached user acquisition, retargeting, and ad spend strategies. Based on the panelists’ experiences on their road to success, valuable tips were shared on how to select the right attribution method and improve ROI. The session aimed at showcasing common struggles and the respective strategies and solutions which have helped other important brands succeed in this space.
The second panel, moderated by Ankit Saxena from Branch, was dedicated to overcoming mobile fragmentation, building cross-platform user experiences, and measuring impact. In this discussion, the panelists laid out the key aspects of building a multi-platform marketing strategy which is a crucial component of maximizing reach, engagement, and conversions in today’s world. Referencing back to their own challenges in scaling and sustaining growth, panelists from Flipkart and RedBus shared many helpful insights on creating winning strategies for growth with a focus on attaining cross-platform excellence by being data-driven.
