The New Delhi Chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization, a global network of entrepreneurs, has launched its Accelerator Program, a catapult for First-Stage Entrepreneurs, which aims to propel their businesses into a higher league in a short span of time.

EO realizes that First-stage entrepreneurs often struggle with growth issues that hamper their progress to next higher level of business. The Accelerator program is designed to empower such entrepreneurs with the tools, accountability, and community support to aggressively grow and master their business.

The first Accelerator program by EO New Delhi, already has 12 entrepreneurs enrolled on board out of which 9 are women. The program is a three-year experiential model. Along with imparting entrepreneurial education, it will give the participants an access to mentors and to an influential peer community to help them transform into a better entrepreneur and a more effective leader. The program offers structured educational content focused on the core areas of first-stage businesses covering strategy, human resources, finance, sales, and marketing to aid the participants to solve their real business issues. The program will encourage and help the entrepreneurs to decide how to penetrate new markets and how to scale up their businesses to reach the US $1 Million in turnover (24 months – average time taken by participants in previous Accelerator programs to hit USD 1 Million). It also gives the participants, a unique experience of learning from and connecting with the world’s most influential entrepreneurs.

Mr. Gokul Mahna, Accelerator Chair - EO New Delhi, said, "The Accelerator program is a platform for the young entrepreneurs to turn their dreams into reality at an accelerated speed. The program empowers the first-stage answers to find solutions to their own unique business issues. Additionally, it affords the unique experience of peer to peer learning from and connecting with the world’s most influential entrepreneurs through quarterly learning events. The business leaders will work as executive coaches for them and their business. EO New Delhi will be supporting them in goal setting and tracking tools. We have already collaborated with 3500+ businesses since 2005.”

Apart from the opportunity to impact emerging entrepreneurs through mentorship and experience-based interaction, the program is set to practice core areas such as Strategy, People, Finance and Sales & Marketing through executive coaching.

To recall, in March 2017 EO had organized Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), which represented thousands of prominent student entrepreneurs from more than 50 countries. And, the winner of EO GSEA India National Finals was Daniel Raj David, a student of IIT-Madras.
