Everyone in Indian startup ecosystem must be aware of T-Hub, which is India's largest technology startup incubator located in Hyderabad.
Now, after a huge success of T-Hub, Delhi government led by Arvind Kejriwal is in process of setting up a technology incubation hub on the same lines as that of T-Hub, said Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today.
Sisodia said the Delhi government representatives will study's Telangana's T-Hub model. Notably, T-Hub is a unique public/private partnership between the government of Telangana, three of India’s premier academic institutes (IIIT-H, ISB & NALSAR) and key private sector leaders.
"On the lines of T-Hub, we are creating Delhi-Hub. We have identified land (for the project). We have several ideas ...Several incubation research projects are going on in Delhi and by incorporating all we will create Delhi-Technology hub," Delhi's Deputy CM told reporters on the sidelines of an event here.
Additionally, a delegation led by Sisodia met Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao in this regard.
"We will study their (Telangana's) policy and meet entrepreneurs (in T-Hub)," said Sisodia, who is also education minister of Delhi.
The above development was first reported in Outlook.
