India's own Hardware Accelerator is now 15 Startups strong with the launch of Batch#2 at the Numa Accelerator's Startup Popup Event.

Revvx Founder, Avinash Kaushik, recounted his journey as a Bootstrapped Incubation Hub known as Co-Labs started way back in 2013 with startups like Native5 ( acquired by Myntra) and Hiree ( Acquired by Quikr) and the pivot to Hardware owing to the demand by Corporate Innovation Clients to scout innovative product startups. Satish Mugulavalli, the mentor at Co-Labs and former R&D Head of Verismo Networks, joined Revvx in November 2015. It has been an exciting journey so far working with great startups and Founders.

Revvx has a vision to build an Enabler for Mass Startup Innovation in India which is essentially to build a better and faster channel for Indian Hardware/IOT Product Startups to navigate Prototyping, Funding, Manufacturing, Go to Market and Retail. India imports 65% of its electronics. Exports are negligible. "In 5 years, we want to see Indian Smart Electronics Products powered by Revvx in Global households. We want to bring down the effort and time taken for a startup from Proof of concept to Retail/Sales " says Kaushik.

Intel, Accenture Innovation, TCS Innovation, Xerox Innovation, IESA and Amazon teams along with several Entrepreneurs and Batch#1 Alumni of Revvx were present to Congratulate the new Cohorts and to Mentor them through the program in exploring Co-Innovation, Co-Development, Go to Market and Distribution support that startups could piggyback in order to access wider markets. Revvx has successfully tied together the local IoT ecosystem and the global technology scene with support from several partners in the community.

Bangalore based Revvx is currently expanding their core team of Hardware IOT Engineers, Designers and Retail Experts. They have the Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) program for IOT Enthusiasts who have their own venture and can also contribute to the ecosystem. Revvx announced the Revvx Engineering Fellowship Program for Interns and Graduates in Design, Engineering and Product Development to work with their Innovation Lab and avail a chance to work inside innovative Indian Silicon Valley startups. The three-month program is focused on engineering and design. A year-long program is focused on Product Management.

What was more heartening at the Event was fellow Accelerators Revvx and Numa joining hands in supporting each others Initiatives. Indian Startup ecosystem requires this sort of peer support.

Revvx is a Bangalore based Hardware Accelerator focussed on supporting Startups through Prototyping, Manufacturing and Distribution of Innovative Consumer Electronics and Connected Devices. Revvx works with major silicon companies along with global design studios, Maker Labs, component suppliers, EMS companies and OEMs across India, China and Taiwan to support the Startups building disruptive consumer products.

Revvx supports disruptive and Innovative Product Startups in areas such as IOT, Augmented / Virtual reality, Robotics, Drones, Blockchain, Wearables and Connected Automobiles. Startups avail of Revvx’s pool of experts to iterate quickly and economically, develop their Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and prepare to scale rapidly.
