Founded in November 2014 by Kabir Jeet Singh and his childhood friend Nitin Rana both with vast experience in the F&B industry. Burger Singh is the first homegrown burger chain which is looking to make its mark in the countries fast growing burger Market, which is dominated by larger American corporations. Unlike its rivals, Burger Singh is looking to open smaller outlet with multiple locations predominantly focused on delivery and takeaway customers. This makes the model capex light with conservative rentals and very lean operations. Thus reducing the risk per location.
In less than two years, the brand has built an extensive presence in the National Capital Region of India and currently has 8 outlets in the city. The company is now looking to expand aggressively with a Franchise Owned Company Operated model in the city. The management expects to expand the total number of outlets to 26 by the end of the year.
"We are very impressed by the vision and energy of Kabir, his success in introducing a new dining experience to the customer, the unique positioning of Burger Singh, and the quality of the management and operations team. We see strong potential in the Company and are looking forward to working closely with the team to help ensure the continued success of Burger Singh," said Dheeraj Jain of Redcliffe Capital.
Kabir Jeet Singh, CEO of Burger Singh said, "From the day of opening our first outlet until today, I have been delighted and humbled by the consumer response to our product. That our vision, enthusiasm and prospects have been highly recognized by our investors who have backed us repeatedly both financially and strategically. Burger Singh has undergone phenomenal growth in a very short period, which validates our unique positioning. Now that we have carefully and deliberately built a robust foundation of systems and processes, the aim would be to reach a wider audience geographically.”
