Today, Google Search and Zomato has announced an association to enable consumers to use Zomato's Online Ordering functionality directly though the Google search bar.
Starting today, if you are planning to beat the monsoon season by ordering your food in, you can now order online on Zomato through Google Search on your phone as well. Just click on the “Place an order” option in the search results and click on Zomato to complete the order on our mobile website.
Users will be able to “Place an order” through Zomato from Google search from over 11,000 restaurants across 10 cities in India: Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Chandigarh.
Users can not only order in, but will also be able to reserve a table on Zomato through Google Search on their phone very soon.
