We want everything now, right then and there. Understanding these repairing needs of the people nowadays is a new startup called Geekscraft.
'Geekscraft’ is an amalgamation of words Geeks, which means nerds of technology and Craft, which means collection of good things. The brand aims to become the numero uno door-step repair services in India with superior customer service, commitment, and quality repairs.
Founded in January 2015, this Mumbai-based startup provides the convenience of a doorstep service to fix Mobile Phones/Tablets, Computers, TVs, ACs, etc. and that too at very affordable prices. It is network of expert technicians 'called geeks' who undertake in-house repairs of Home Appliances, gadgets and Handyman services.
The idea for Geekscraft germinated when three friends living alone in the city of dreams, Mumbai, had a hard time finding proper repair shop for their precious Oven and when they finally did find the shop, it took them a total of four days to get their oven properly repaired. And, that is when they decided to take matters in hand and give birth to Geekscraft.
Deependra Singh, Shivendra Singh, Vinit Gupta and Ravi Tripathi, four friends from IIM Bangalore and NMIMS University, are the co-founders of this innovative startup. Other in the team include Deep Narayan, who heads the Creative team; Sagar Raut, who is the CTO; Keerthi Chetty, who takes care of Marketing and Communications; and Ayush Das and Abhinav Shirvasta, who are in charge of Operations.
The startup which hasn't received any seed or angel funding yet, is a hard working team of just 11 people as of now. They're currently in a lookout for investors as they plan to expand their services to tier 1 and tier 2 cities. Currently, Geekscraft only caters to Mumbai area.
Geekscraft has a mission of establishing itself as a brand that the people will immediately reckon when it comes to door-step repair services in India with superior customer service, commitment and quality repairs.
