Finalizing weekend getaways in India is a tough scene. Not because there are not much weekend escapades but because they are not in highlight. Nikita Mittal and Dhaval Jani are taking care of this problem for all of us. Rezortify is a resort discovery portal which provides systematized information on various weekend getaways and resorts that you can head to for your escapades and vacations. It provides hand-picked results of various adventures, romance, family, spa and other getaways and resorts users can look upon on the basis of their inputs.

Founded in 2014 Rezortify is self-funded online startup based out of Ahmedabad and currently offer its users to search resorts in 8 states of India - Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand.

"Being from a middle class family, we understand what the situation is. If head of the family is businessman, family won't get enough time and plans to have family vacations. And if he is a government employee, they will wait for the LTC – once in two or three years to visit," says Nikita. "Well, the idea of crafting such a product started taking shape back in 2013. After conducting handsome market research, analyzing things – the weak and strong points of the industry, where the industry lags and so on, we finally started working on it in Feb 2014," adds Dhawal.

Rezortify has organized the haphazard information available on the internet to highlight the escapades we always look for to get away from busy schedule. They have built their platform keeping in mind the middle class and the youth. "Our 'let us plan' feature is what separates us from them. We are clear in our information and have designed the whole frame – user oriented," says Nikita.

They use a graph oriented approach. "The whole platform is built such that users won’t get confused and nor would they have to surf one page then another and so on. Everything is ready-made and accessible from every part of the website," says Dhawal. With their beta version just released, their 5 member team is working hard to expand to different geographies and locations. They are currently self-funded. As a message for future entrepreneurs, Nikita says, "The urge to start-up should be strong enough to wake you for nights!"
