Click Labs is a full service Custom App, Software Development and Technology Solutions Company started by IIT Delhi Alumni. They are a company who believe in taking a mobile first approach for their projects. They are currently working across 4 key verticals - Startups/ MVP solutions; Mobile gaming; Enterprise Mobility and Internet of Things (IoT). With a base in San Francisco and a development center in Chandigarh, their 150+ strong team has successfully executed more than 100 projects across mobile, gaming, small businesses and enterprises in a span of less than three years.

The company was started in 2011 by Samar Singla and Chinmay Agarwal. Samar is a serial entrepreneur and an alumni from IIT Delhi. He came back to India after a year doing MS in University of Maryland to bring technology to the poultry sector and created Prodigy Foods which is the largest company providing soya substitute as poultry feed today. One year after stabilizing the operations he sold off the majority stake in Prodigy to start his next entrepreneurial gig, Click Labs, since technology was something which always fascinated him. Chinmay on the other hand is the CTO of Click Labs and is leading a team of over a hundred web and mobile application developers and designers. He has done his Dual Masters in Robotics Engineering from Ecole Centrale Nantes, France and B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi.

When Click Labs was started, majority of the players in the market were focused on products business. "I felt that there were not enough smart people in the services industry and hence I started the IT services business to cash on that opportunity. We took time to establish ourselves in the services business, and the focus was on building a strong team all through," he says.

They have worked for 'Uber like solutions' in the B2B space and are now leveraging that expertise to enable B2C solutions for the Indian audience. “We have built a platform to enable companies to build a customized ‘Uber for anything’ in less than a month. Some of our successful solutions implemented in B2B space till date are TaxiHawk -Uber for Taxi companies, Ezy Moove - Uber for Moving Companies, NudgeFX- Uber for Fitness Trainers,” says Parag Jain, CMO and IIT Delhi Alumnus as well.

"With our solution, you can build your Uber for anything in less than a month, at approximately 10-40% of the cost of building the solution from scratch; and at the same time retain the flexibility and scalability of the solution to get the business model right," says Sanjay Dhakar, COO and an Electrical Engineering pass out from IIT Delhi. The solution can be fully customized depending on the local business needs and comes as a monthly subscription model. They are constantly striving to make the solution even more modular so as to further reduce the implementation time and fasten the go-to-market.

They are enabling entrepreneurs build their own 'Uber for X' products. "Our recently launched incubator, Next Juggernaut, is our first step towards that direction," says Rohit Goyal, the CBO who heads the sales team. Their startup incubator, Next Juggernaut, has recently partnered with Amazon Web Services under their “Activate” program for incubators. "This will enable our incubates, an access to world class services from Amazon, including technological, commercial and go-to-market enablement. We also have a syndicate network of investors interesting in the Indian ODMS B2C space," adds Rohit, a pass out from IIT Delhi as well.

They have expertise across the entire technology spectrum which is required to create world class mobile applications and games. "Our technology stack is quite diverse although we prefer working on the newer stack with NodeJS/Ruby as Scripting languages and NoSQL or distributed databases. We are pretty flexible with native and cross platform front end mobile and web clients and choose them on case to case basis," says the CTO.

They have a base in San Francisco and a development center in Chandigarh and their 150+ strong team is successfully executing projects across mobile, gaming, small businesses and enterprises applications. “As we unwind our next wave of growth, we are focusing big on 'On Demand Mobile Services' (ODMS) and have recently launched 'Next Juggernaut', an incubator to support entrepreneurs conceptualize and develop Uber for X based solutions,” says the founder. "We want to democratize entrepreneurship and be an enabler for sharing economy. Our vision, which loosely relates to Rocket Internet model, is to incubate 100 startups in the coming decade," adds Parag. Next Juggernaut would provide a larger runway to entrepreneurs who can't afford to spend big on customized technology solutions. At the same time, they have already specialized marketing and production teams which can provide sound, practical advice to the incubated companies. This would enable the incubated startups to reduce the burn rate and rather iterate on their business model to get the solution right. They are moving towards a product-services hybrid model.

The team is looking to raise funding to fuel the next stage of growth. As a message for future entrepreneurs, Samar says, "I would strongly urge future entrepreneurs to work in India rather than going to US/Europe for greener pastures. India offers a lot of opportunities for entrepreneurs and it's the right time to work in India in the technology sector. The mobilization of technology and the collaborative economy potential are soon going to help hundreds of startups become big."
