99Games Online Private Limited in collaboration with Yash Raj Films Private Limited (YRF) has launched Dhoom:3 The Game exclusively on Windows Phone today. An endless 3D racing game where the player dons the digital avatar of Aamir Khan’s character in the movie (slated for release on 20th December), is chased by Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, who play two cool cops. To get into the characters’ skin and onto their bikes, all you need to do is download the game from the Windows Phone Store.
The graphics used in the 26MB download size movie based game are indeed slick and sharp with cool cops and superbikes, mean streets and a tenacious anti-hero.
Set against the backdrop of Chicago, the game opens with a heist by the character played by Aamir Khan. He then needs to dodge the crime-fighting duo comprising ACP Jai Dixit and Ali (Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra). What ensues is a thrilling, action-packed chase on super bikes through the mean streets of Chicago. To win, players have to overcome heavy traffic and dodge obstacles, collect coins and achieve the maximum score.
If you play sharp and smart, you can arm yourself with cool power-ups. While the powerful Sonic Pulse weapon will blow away everything in your path, the Shield protects you from traffic and bombs. Players can use the Nitro Boost to achieve maximum speed and zip ahead. Apart from the cool bikes and suit upgrades, these power-ups can help you improve your score and climb the Leaderboard.
"With Dhoom:3 The Game, we have pushed the boundaries of mobile gameplay. The game delivers amazingly slick graphics and an immersive action-packed gameplay for Windows Phone users," said Rohit Sobti, Vice President – Licensing & Merchandising, YRF.
Rohith Bhat, CEO, 99Games Online Pvt.
