Sony has launched a new-gen imaging device that works with your smartphone, Sony claims that it is world's first pro-grade lens and sensor combo that clips to your smartphone and you can shoot DSLR quality pictures. These smartphones attachable lens cameras will be launched in two models as - Cybershot QX100 and QX10 with price tag of $500 and $250 respectively.

Both DSC-QX100 & QX10 models allows one-touch connection with smartphone via Wi-Fi then all of the camera lenses features can be accessed via your smartphone’s LCD screen and you can shoot from your iOS or Android smartphones and record images with the quality of dedicated camera device.

With  these compact and lightweight Exmor R CMOS sensor camera lenses you can turn your smartphone into a professional grade camera to capture beautiful DSLR-like 20MP still photos in QX100 and 18MP on QX10. The QX10 model will use a Sony G Lens with optical steady shot and 10x zoom while the expensive model use Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonar T* lens with F/1.8 aperture and 3.6x optical zoom.

You can pre-order this super gadget from Sony website and the camera lenses will be available in your local country in a speculated time of a month.

Images will conveniently saved to both camera and smartphone’s memory automatically. Moreover both DSC-QX100 & DSC-QX10 camera lenses can also be used uncoupled from the smartphone. Hold the camera in one hand and your phone in the other, or use the universal tripod screw to mount your camera to any number of mounts to experience versatile, freestyle shooting.

The QX100 measures 62.5 x 62.5 x 55.5 and weighs 179g. The QX10 is shorter – 62.4 x 61.8 x 33.3 and weighs 105g. With  3.6V nfoLITHIUM battery you can capture 200 images once it is fully charged.
